DESIGN EXPERIENCE

The Design Experiences department consists of students with organizational talent. Not just an event but creating a total experience for its visitors, that is what their aim is. From concept and media exposure to the full execution, they can do it all. The biggest challenge this team faces is translating their vision into one joint effort. Teamwork at its best.

Throughout the academic year there are several projects students can sign-up for. We often work with external clients, but we also organize a lot of events within BUas itself. Think of the Foundation Award Ceremony, the Film Festival for the fourth-year students and special occasion events such as Halloween themed gatherings or the HUB annual Easter Egg Hunt. Open days, PH expo and Industry days are also part of the portfolio of Design Experiences. And let’s not forget to mention the project Camp Lost, the academic introduction event for the freshmen of the Academy for Games and Media, is part of the range of projects.

What is it what our students do? The students arrange everything. From organizing the décor, catering, call-sheets, planning, budget, the entertainment, storyline to all small little details. In short, all the Pre-production, Production, Post-production, and Design, create and execute the assigned project. With the support of a dedicated supervisor from the Academy.
