Production house XR is surrounding the new growth of the virtual production market regarding LED volumes. As part of this course, you will get to work with our 8 meters by 3.5-meter LED screen, the only one of its kind across all universities in mainland Europe. The LED volume is replacing green screen so you can have live, real-time worlds on the screen that will make it seem that your actors are in space or the desert or back in time. It is a collaborative PRH, where you work directly with games students that are responsible for extending reality from your physical set. You will get to shoot a short fiction film in which you will learn the tasks of a producer, director, DA, DOP, gaffer, sound, editing, script writing, casting, costume, props, make up and more. This is a reset for many in the industry and has levelled the playing field in terms of knowledge, we will give you the first insight into this new world. During the PRH days we also have our virtual production guild where we work directly with industry partners such as Iron Films, Ready Set Studios, Lukkien, Nord University and more. We provide field trips, masterclasses, film previews, all in the hope to extend your knowledge.
